MICROBLADING EYEBROWS

Microblading is a semi-permanent technique that involves using a super-fine pen to deposit pigment into the skin. Even with little to no hair, Delphine's specialized artistry allows her to create individual hair-like strokes, resulting in a natural-looking brow that is perfectly imperfect. Every client will receive a bespoke eyebrow approach that is tailored to your unique needs and facial contours.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does microblading last?

My technique is semi-permanent so on-going touch ups are required to maintain the desired results. With my renowned approach in achieving a natural look, the color pigments will break down over time and the rate of skin cell regeneration will vary for everyone. The number of touch-ups per year will depend on your skin, lifestyle, and skincare routine. Following the aftercare guidelines is crucial to protect the results as best as possible. Consistency and commitment to follow-up appointments are key to maintaining the beautiful appearance of your eyebrows over time.

How many sessions will i need?

Crafting the perfect eyebrows is a meticulous process that requires patience and expertise. More pigment can always be added, but it can’t be removed if it is too heavy. That's why my innovative "less is more" technique is a gradual approach over several sessions to ensure that the best results are achieved and that the final look is natural, delicate, and timeless. Each client's eyebrow journey is unique and requires varying levels of attention depending on various factors, such as your desired outcome, rate of metabolism, and individual skin characteristics such as hair loss, scarring, and how your skin heals. Typically, you'll need 2-3 sessions or more, depending on your skin and how it responds to the treatment.

Does microblading hurt?

Numbing cream will be applied during the treatment to ensure you are as comfortable as possible. Some discomfort may be felt during the first two minutes of the procedure, but most clients report little to no pain.

Is microblading safe?

Yes, microblading is safe when performed by a skilled and experienced technician using sterile tools and high-quality pigments, such as myself. The tips are sealed and only opened just before starting the procedure. They are always safely discarded after one use. All other equipment is thoroughly sterilized before and after each procedure.

Is there downtime after the appointment?

Given the delicacy and subtlety of my technique, downtime is practically non-existent and there is no need to confine yourself to your home! Following the initial session, your eyebrows may appear 20-40% darker and bolder but nonetheless beautiful and natural looking. Some people experience mild swelling right after treatment, but this will only last for a few hours and is very normal. It's also typical for scabs to appear between days 5-10, lasting no more than 1-2 days. Just make sure you follow the aftercare instructions.

What if i've microbladed elsewhere before?

If you have received mircroblading services at another studio, please send a photo of your current eyebrows via email or text before scheduling an appointment. Let me know what you are hoping to achieve. If I am unable to work on your eyebrows, I will refer you to a great dermatologist to perform laser removal first.

Who is a good candidate for microblading?

Microblading is suitable for most individuals, and I am so grateful that I get to help a diverse range of clients from all over the globe feel confident and beautiful in their own skin - something everyone deserves. I am also proud to provide my bespoke services to those who have experienced hair loss due to a variety of reasons such as aging, cancer, and chemotherapy, anxiety and stress, trichotillomania, alopecia, or thyroid disease.

Client requirements include:

  • Must be over 18 years old

  • Not pregnant or nursing

  • Not undergoing chemotherapy or have recently completed chemotherapy

  • Not currently using or have used Accutane within the 1-2 years

  • Not received botox within 2 weeks

  • No broken or irritated skin

  • Please make sure you let me know of any medical conditions and medications and supplements you are taking. For optimal results, it is important to rule out possibilities of any adverse reactions or undesirable outcomes.

What about chemotherapy?

If you have not started chemotherapy yet, it is recommended to begin the process at least 2 months before commencing chemotherapy, as we require 2 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart for the first two appointments.

If you have completed chemotherapy, it is advisable to consult with your doctor before booking an appointment. Your doctor will provide guidance based on your specific medical condition and needs.

If you are currently undergoing chemotherapy, I am unable to provide the treatment. It is important to prioritize your health and well-being during your chemotherapy treatment. Please consult with your doctor for guidance on any cosmetic procedures during this period.

Can microblading help my fading or thinning brows?

Thinning brows, especially the loss of the outer third of the brow, can be quite common. Over time, brow colour also tend to fade due to the natural aging process and sun exposure. Semi-permanent makeup such as microblading is a great way to address these concerns as I can customize the color base to your natural hair color. I have helped many achieve their ideal brows again with my innovative techniques.

Is microblading effective for people with sparse or non-existent eyebrow hair?

Absolutely! If you are experiencing hair loss or have over-tweezed your brows to the point where they won't grow back, I can help create fuller, natural-looking brows for you. What sets my microblading approach apart is my unique approach in creating "imperfectly perfect" eyebrows. Rather than repetitive precision, my artistic approach means that each stroke is thoughtfully placed to mimic the look and direction of real eyebrow hair. I take into consideration the natural pattern of your brow growth and use that as a guide to create a beautiful, custom result that looks realistic and complements your facial features perfectly.

How should i prepare for my appointment?

To ensure the best possible outcome for your treatment, we ask that you follow these guidelines:

  • Avoid hair removal services within 72 hours of your procedure, as this can cause skin irritation and sensitivity.
