EYES ENHANCEMENT

EYES ENHANCEMENT

A lash enhancement gives a very natural, 'barely there' look and my gentle technique will define and frame your eyes in a radiant, subtle way. A small delicate layer of pigment is carefully deposited between the lashes creating a fuller, thicker-looking appearance that looks strikingly natural. My goal is not just to enhance your natural beauty but also to help you feel confident and refreshed in your own skin.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is eye enhancement safe?

Yes, eye enhancement is safe when performed by a skilled and experienced technician using sterile tools and high-quality pigments, such as myself. The brand-new tools are sealed and only opened just before starting the procedure. They are always safely discarded after one use. All other equipment is thoroughly sterilized before and after each procedure.

What is the downtime like after treatment?

My eyeliner technique is delicate and subtle, so there is no downtime required, and you can resume your normal routine immediately. However, you may experience some mild swelling and dryness or irritation around the eye area after the treatment. This is normal and should subside within a few days.

During the healing process, which typically takes around three weeks, the eyeliner will gradually become more natural-looking. For the first 4-8 days, a thin outer layer of color will harden and flake off, revealing a more natural appearance. It's important to avoid touching or rubbing the area during this time, as the flaky layer provides a protective cover for the healing process to take place.

As the days progress, the look will soften and become more delicate, with each day revealing a more natural-looking result. Following the aftercare instructions is crucial to ensure optimal healing and the best possible outcome.

How should i prepare for my appointment?

To ensure the best possible outcome for your treatment, we ask that you follow these guidelines:

  • Do not curl, dye, perm, or undergo any other eyelash-enhancing procedures 48 hours prior to your appointment.

  • Any eyelash extensions should be removed at least 10 days prior to treatment and ensure there is no glue remaining on your eyes.

  • Do not wear contact lenses during the procedure or for the first 48 hours afterward.

  • If you have had any eye surgery, including Lasik or Cataract surgery, please consult with your physician before making an appointment. Physicians typically recommend waiting at least 2 months after surgery before receiving our treatments.

  • After your procedure, avoid strong sources of bright light and wear sunglasses to protect your eyes.

What is the aftercare required?

Taking proper care of your eyeliner after the procedure is crucial to achieving the best results. Here are after-care instructions to follow:

  • Do not use mascara until the healing process is complete, which typically takes 7 days. After that, buy a new tube and apply it farther out on the lash than usual.

  • Do not curl, dye, perm, or undergo any other eyelash-enhancing procedures for three weeks after your treatment and follow-up appointments.

  • Do not wear contact lenses for the first 48 hours afterward.

  • Avoid strong sources of bright light and wear sunglasses to protect your eyes.

  • Do not spend excessive time in the sun or water, including swimming, for the first 2 weeks post-treatment.
