Where are you from?
I was born and raised in New York City.
What is your job?
I am the General Manager of a Family Office.
Why did you decide to do permanent makeup?
My decision to undergo permanent makeup was because of my personal journey with alopecia. In 2008, I was diagnosed with alopecia areata, a condition that leads to hair loss. By 2015, it progressed to alopecia universalis.
After undergoing intense treatments that included cortico steroid injections with my dermatologist and taking medication. Most of my hair did grow back, but my eyebrows were still sparse and also uneven.
After not seeing any improvement in my eyebrows for several years, I opened myself to the idea of doing microblading permanent makeup. As a guy, my only requirement was that the final result be very natural.
Fortunately, Delphine came highly recommended to me for the natural-looking results I was seeking, which gave me the confidence to proceed.
How did you feel after?
I have to say I’m extremely happy with the results. My eyebrows are very natural looking and complement my facial features. This experience has taught me the importance of embracing solutions that make us feel confident and comfortable in our own skin.
